We continue to work on our Fairy Tales and Building Things Units. This past week, we read Goldilocks and the Three Bears and built a bed, table and chairs.
I was so impressed with one of the students who took all of our spelling
words and turned it into a story. (This is one of the new options for
practicing our spelling words for homework each week.) I’m hoping to see more
of this type of story in the future, even if you can only use a few of the
words. It will also help with our writing skills. Awesome work!
"Once upon a time there was a cat with big paws and sharp claws. She saw a man hauling his boat to launch into the ocean. She also saw a lady thawing a fish. She could smell the yummy fish. Would the cat go to steal the fish? No, she would not because her paws were sore from walking all night on the frozen ground."
