Happy Father's Day to all the dads in Room 11.
We have been working on animal research for Language Arts and Science. We have read information and wrote sentences about appearance, habitat, diet, predators or enemies, young or offspring, and will be working on animal adaptations and other interesting facts in the upcoming week.
In Social Studies, we have been learning about the past and present in relation to transportation, communication, clothing, schools, homes, and cooking. Students enjoyed the Heritage Park field trip where they learned even more about the past. We will conclude our unit with Pioneer Day on Wednesday, June 22nd. Wear your pioneer costume if you have one, otherwise it is casual clothes.
We have been focusing on measurement and reviewing addition and subtraction concepts in Math this past week.
