In Language Arts, we are working on sounding out words while we write, putting spaces between words, proper letter formation and formulating ideas for writing. We are also meeting in small groups for Guided Reading activities. If your child is not reading at C/D level on Razkids, please be sure to read more, and to use the reading strategies inside the homework book and under learning resources to support your child. Also, please practice the sight word lists. Start with list one and once mastered continue to list 2, etc. This will greatly benefit your child, even if they are reading at the level expected for this time of year.
In Science, we have been learning about our five senses and fall changes. Students enjoyed our “touch bag” activity this week.
In Math, we have been focusing on one more and one less, as well as increasing our speed at subitizing. We started a word problem and used a picture and word sentence to solve it.
Reminders: (see schedule below as well)
Please clean out your child’s homework folder and make sure that

to change at the school, so please wear your costume to school. No weapons or
